The Bios Flash utility will allow Hercules 3D Prophet FDX 8500 LE video cards to work with ATI reference drivers 7.­68.­ Note: This bios is only valid for cards with the following serial numbers: 631 5058891 631 5058888 A full bios update will be available with the next driver release.­ - Create an MS-DOS boot disk (see instructions below).­ - Extract the 2 files to the created disk.­ - Reboot your computer - Be sure your Bios setting are set so your floppy is the first in the boot sequence.­ - When you get to the command prompt,­ type HRADFLHS.­exe - Follow the on-screen instructions.­ To create an MS-DOS startup disk Windows 9x /­ Me - Insert a floppy disk into your computer's floppy drive.­ - Open My Computer,­ and then click the floppy disk drive to select it.­ - On the File menu,­ point to the name of the floppy drive,­ and then click Format.­ - Under Format options,­ click "Copy System files".­ - Click Start Windows 2000 Since Windows 2000 doesn't provide the option to create a DOS startup disk,­ you will need to use a disk created under another operating system,­ or one available on the Web.­ Windows XP - Insert a floppy disk into your computer's floppy drive.­ - Open My Computer,­ and then click the floppy disk drive to select it.­ - On the File menu,­ point to the name of the floppy drive,­ and then click Format.­ - Under Format options,­ click "Create an MS-DOS startup disk".­ - Click Start.­
